Lagoinha do Leste
One of the best hikes in Florianópolis, leading to a secluded beach accessible only on foot or by boat.
Praia Mole
Soft sand, great waves, and beautiful scenery near Lagoa da Conceição. A hotspot for surfing, paragliding, and lively beachside dining.

Fresh oysters from Ribeirão da Ilha, shrimp feasts, and locally caught seafood. The couple's favourite: Rancho Açoriano.

Your Questions Answered
Do I need a visa to enter Brazil?
If you're traveling with an American, Australian, or Canadian passport, yes. European passport holders do not need a visa. The application process is straightforward and can be completed online. Visit www.gov.br for detailed instructions and requirements.
How do I get to Florianópolis?
Florianópolis International Airport (FLN) is the main gateway to the island. From New York, Miami, and London, you can connect through São Paulo (GRU) or Rio de Janeiro (GIG) with airlines like LATAM, Gol, or Azul. Good news for guests coming from Portugal or connecting through Lisbon: TAP Air Portugal now operates 3 direct flights per week between Lisbon and Florianópolis (flight TP109), so a connection through São Paulo isn't necessary. Direct flights from São Paulo to Florianópolis are frequent and take about 1.5 hours. The airport is a 20-minute drive from most beach areas.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes. We'll arrange transportation to and from the venue on the wedding day. Details will be shared closer to the date.
Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Yes. March in Florianópolis is typically warm and beautiful, but we recommend bringing a light jacket in case of cooler evening temperatures.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes, there's ample parking on-site. If you're driving, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to allow time to park comfortably.
Can we extend our trip and explore more of South America?
Absolutely — many of our guests are turning this into a longer trip! We've put together a full guide to Rio, Bahia, Alagoas, Paraná, and more.
